Megastar Shah Rukh Khan has planned a worldwide tour to promote his upcoming film Happy New Year.
The tour that has been named Slam! will start from September 19 in Houston and will continue to New Jersey, Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver and San Jose. (Also read: Shah Rukh Khan Took AbRam for a Drive. This is What Happened )
The tour will also include rest of the cast of the film, including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and debutante Vivaan Shah.
The cast will be joined by the film's director Farah Khan, Malaika Arora Khan, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and Baby Doll singer Kanika Kapoor. (Also read: Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan Salute 'Real Hero' Nitin Ivalekar )
Happy New Year, produced by Gauri Khan, is scheduled to be released this Diwali on 23 October.
This will be the third collaboration of Shah Rukh Khan with director Farah Khan, after Om Shanti Om, which also starred Deepika Padukone.
